Ok, so here's the issue, My wife's phone has been 90-90% stuck on 3g for the past week or so. (while my phone was in 4g LTE literally right next to it). I thought it might be the fact that I was running the new IOS, and she was not, so I updated her phone last night. Today, her phone froze, so I hard reset it, and most works, but its stuck in 3g now. When she goes to toggle off the LTE switch, the touch screen won't work.
Please advise if this is a Verizon issue, or an Iphone issue
That is not good news that your wife is not able to take advantage of the fastest data network around! Lets take a further look into this issue. If you can try powering the device off and pull the sim card out of the device for about 5-10 minutes to let the device reset itself from the network. What iPhone model does your wife have? Since you have already done a master reset and that has not resolved the issue, it could be that we might need to replace the SIM card since this is what connects your device to our towers.
