Hi, I recently got the iPhone 5 by adding a new line to my plan. Because I ordered it online, they gave me a different area code than where I am from. I'm planning to switch the number through IVR after turning the phone on for 24 hours (that's what the customer service rep told me).
So my question is, will doing an additional number "swap" (after I switch the iPhone's number back to the proper area code) with another active number already on the family plan that currently has unlimited data, affect the plan of the already active number? (I want to keep the unlimited data) So what I'm trying to do is to use the iPhone on a pre-existing line that has unlimited data and switching the phone from that pre-existing line to the new line I'm about to activate.
