Telephone Number doesn't appear

Problem with a call that rings my phone whether I'm on the phone or the other line but the telephone number doesn't appear.  Even in the missed call. How is this possible?

Technology is how its done. There are spammer programs out there that mask the numbers. They can also show bogus numbers and even your own number. This is to not let you block the number from harassing you again.

Some web sites have solutions to combat this telemarketing and spammer programs. Google search for them.
