I can't send a text with either the iPhone 5s or 5c I just purchased.  I went back to the store and they told me they have never seen this.  Is there some basic thing I am failing to do?  The phone was activated at the store.

I went to the verizon store this morning. They found that for whatever

reason the text capability on my account had been turned off. They

turned it on and I am up and running. Thank you for responding.
