I have been waiting for the HTC Thunderbolt. Should I wait for the iphone 5 4G? I currently have an Eris and like the Android system but I hear the Apple device is better. I can't see getting the iphone 4 3G when 4G is around the corner. Any comments? Thanks for your input.

According to the Best Buy that came out today, you can reserve or pre-order the HTC Thunderbolt. Soon it has got to be coming soon. The rumor mill puts the "official" date at Feb 14th.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I don't think anyone has said with any certainty the iPhone 5 will be an LTE phone.
The Thunderbolt is a 4G phone, but you must have the 4G LTE network working in your area.

The thunderbolt will be able to use the 3g network as well... so you can still use it in areas with no 4g.
That is true, but most likely you will have to pay a 4G fee (Just because you have a 4G capable phone) whether you can access 4G service or not.

A like minded consumer! I felt the same way. I know the new Androids will be out soon, but I keep hearing June or July for IPhone 5. So, I'm waiting at least until August and try to get my best deal on an Iphone 5--but any devise using 4 G. I hear good things come to those who wait.

And then in August there will be something newer just around the corner. You can never keep up with Technology, or you will go broke trying to do so. Find a product that suits your needs and go for it. Your going to give yourself a heart attack doing it this way. Believe me, I used to be like that!
