Re: Upgrade transfer concern?

You have a good point wgriffiths. The stores do not have the Nano SIM in stock. But I have good news! You can actually keep the same Nano SIM for both numbers if you already activated the iPhone 5 onto one line but want to switch it to another line, it would just mean there's a little wait for the system to release the SIM.

For example, Line A upgrades and activates the iPhone 5 but you really want to activate it to Line B. Line A reactivates their original phone so Line B can activate the iPhone 5 instead. After 7:00 AM Eastern the next morning (occasionally it can take up to 24 hours from the initial change), that Nano SIM will be released to be activated to Line B following the steps at http://bit.ly/QIArwL to change the iPhone 5 & Nano SIM and complete the activation.

If you receive the iPhone 5 and it was ordered for different line than you'd like to activate it to, don't follow the activation guide instructions received with the phone (it will activate it to Line A then the steps above will apply). Instead, follow the same steps at http://bit.ly/QIArwL to complete the device and SIM ID change directly on the desired mobile number in My Verizon via the Activate Phone path so it can activated on the correct mobile number immediately and avoid that initial delay.

I hope this helps. Enjoy your new iPhones!
