Why can't I connect to the network?

This morning my phone said "no service". I was able to get on wifi but could not call or text. I restarted my phone. Then it "required activation". I attempted to reactivate via ITunes. Now phone says unable to activate because "server is temporarily unavailable". I have tried several times. Nothing will work. Any advice?

*Correction* CB2015, Thanks for the details! It's definitely best to attempt the phone activation over our mobile network vs a Wifi Network. Please ensure your phone is not connected to a Wifi Network. Power your phone off using the the great steps provided by Weth, above. Once you power your phone back on, it should then process the activation over our Mobile Network.   I've also provided a link that can be helpful to review while processing your activation as well http://spr.ly/6581CStW. Turn off the phone (Press and hold the sleep/wake button, then slide off), then take out the SIM card and put it back in. Now turn the phone back on.

Oh my CB2015! We need to get your service activated! What zip code are you in?  I appreciate you trying to activate it via iTunes. Are you connected to the internet when you tried this? Were you able to try to remove the SIM card http://spr.ly/6588CY4n and reinsert?

Yes, I removed SIM card and reinserted. I was connected to internet through work when I tried to reactivate via ITunes so I'm not sure if the wifi at work blocks my ability to reactivate. I am currently in zip code 46804 via work.
