when i check my order status it says expected ship date is 10/3/12 and order has been sent for proccessing today it the 4th and still nothing my phone was a supposed to ship yesterday and it hasnt what is going on?

I spoke to Verizon this morning. She said I would not receive the confirmation until the phone ships with tracking info. I told her the when I placed the order I got a order# and it said I would receive an email within 24 hours. She said iphone orders were different, she had my order and I would get the email right after it ships.
