predman1953,  I'm glad you have reached out to us today. I want to make sure that we get you the answers that you're looking for. Just to clarify, when someone is calling you and you want to ignore the call you don't want it to go to Voicemail at all? Are you not wanting voicemail set up at all on the phone? Please keep us posted.

No; I want voicemail set up as it is on my phone. All I want is a way to

drop/disconnect/end any incoming call that I do not recognize the phone

number. I am annoyed with all of the intrusive robocalls and telemarketing

calls. I have registered on the Do Not Call list, but still these other

calls persist. I want to end the calls for the reason of not sending back

verification that they reached my number by hearing my voicemail greeting,

just drop the call without any completion on my end. Pressing the shutoff

button twice only sends the call immediately to my voicemail.

preman1953,

Thank you for clarifying. You can only decline the call and send it to your Voicemail. There is not a way to decline the call and not send it to voicemail. However, you can take the advice of Snn5, and just answer the call and immediately hang up. This will prevent the call from going to voicemail.
