Phone will be on standby in my pocket and go from 70% to 16% in a couple of hours. Phone only charges 1% per 5 mins meaning it takes forever to charge. Battery is hot when charging as well.

Oh wow! Those all sound like trouble to me! Let's take a look and see what we can do. Since you started experiencing the issue have there been any changes to the device? Software updates, application downloads, or damage to the device? What device are you using? Share some details, we're here to help.

I have not made any major changes to the device. I have downloaded an
additional app or two recently but that isn't changing anything. I
performed a factory reset by restoring my phone and the battery is still
draining. I don't understand how it can still be draining when a factory
reset is supposed to be as close to brand new as it gets.

I appreciate you providing this insight, ogbobby! Is there any physical or water damage to the device? Is the factory provided charger being used?

Thanks for following up with this information, ogbobby. Have you completed a factory reset since experiencing the issue? The battery will typically get warm when the device is charging especially when the device is in use while charging?

Yes I have and it hasn't done me any justice. The phone does typically get
hot when charging and in use. Yesterday my phone was on 3% and I put it on
the charger while I was still using it and it decharged to 1% instead of
charging...

Thanks for taking time to troubleshoot, ogbobby. Are you charging via USB on computer or through the wall adapter? How long have you had the device?
Thank you,

I use both and get the same result. I got the phone at the end of May this year.
