i have a friend who gave me a iphone 5 from sprint and i was wondering is there anyway can i use it with verizon if the phone is factory unlocked ?

That was very nice of your friend, skinny600. In many cases, you may be able to use a 4G LTE and CDMA capable device, like the iPhone 5, from another carrier on our service. We may not be able to guarantee the same quality signal on the device since it was meant for a different service, but you can visit http://vz.to/U2wgl6 to make sure the Device ID can be activated with a new Verizon Wireless SIM. If you already have a compatible Verizon Wireless SIM, you can easily activate the phone by inserting your SIM http://vz.to/1FKbLxs to the device. If you find you'll need a new SIM, you can pick one up from a local store http://bit.ly/3SdsA.
