That is definitely strange, rjmiller59. We are here to help out with this. Regarding your iPhone 5c, and the homepage color issues, is your whole screen grayscal? Is it only on the homescreen, or is it affecting all apps used?

you checked in settings general grey scale to make sure that's off? if so reset all settings
