iMessage not working

My imessage all of sudden is not working. I can send the "green" message but not my regular imessage,I tried turning it on an off but now it just says waiting for activation?

Was I messaging my sister who also has iPhone we both went green about 2 hours ago still green with other iPhone users. She is in minnesota and I am in Indiana...I have verizon she has AT&T. It must be an apple issue....

Same here in Poconos Pa.. I reset, turned off, and reset again. Still getting the green bubbles..

Same here in Oregon!!! Was intermittent but now nothing, very frustrating!

problems here in Delaware as well. this green bubble is very annoying but emojis are still working
