My iPhone 5 is not working correctly. Needs to have work done. ? I have an older Driod to use but it has a 3G SIM card and needs to have a 4g sim in order to activate the droid. Can I simply use the 4g SIM card from my broken iPhone 5???
2nd ? I can not turn iMessage off on broken iPhone. If I can use the SIM card from iPhone 5 in the Driod will I need to wait to activate the Driod and have Verizon turn it off from there end. Or can I activate the droid then call Verizon afterwards if I'm having trouble getting pictures, text etc from iPhone friends And have them fix it??
Thanks
Which droid do you have? Verizon 3G phones don't use SIM cards. If it is a 3G phone from Verizon and it has a SIM card, it is only for global travel.
Rssuttle, having a phone that is working is crucial. I am happy to hear that you have saved that back up phone. While the iPhone 5 SIM card would work in another iPhone, it will not be the same SIM card that is needed for a Droid. Most 3G phones did not include a SIM card, unless you were using that phone globally. The great news is, that should you have a phone that does require that SIM card for activation, simly stop by your local Verizon Store so we may get you that new card today.
With iMessage, as you are not able to turn this off within the phone, simply visit https://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage to deregister your cell number from this service.
