An analyst says the iPhone 5 will NOT support LTE but the iPhone 6 will!

This would make sense, given that Apple likes to make sure technologies are well established beforehand. And that LTE/4G won’t be available everywhere on Verizon until 2013.

I agree. Especially since the two carriers the iPhone is on are the last two to get 4G service. If Apple released a 4g iPhone this summer, that would place it among the first phones on AT&T and Verizon to have 4G, and Apple wouldn't do that.
Like others have said, the iPhone 5 will be to the iPhone 4 as the iPhone 3GS was to the iPhone 3G: some internal upgrades (maybe dual-core), but nothing major. People have said that the iPhone doesn't even need dual-core, since it is already fast enough and has plenty of power, so we'll see.

ive been saying this all along. iphone 5 will not be on the LTE networks
