iPhone 5s suddenly experiencing bad wifi reception

My iPhone 5s suddenly began to have poor wifi reception. I basically have to be right next to the router to use the wifi, and it happened all of a sudden the other day, before that it was getting wifi signal throughout the whole house. It's the same in another building we have with a completely different wifi connection, it doesn't work unless I'm within a couple yards of the router. All our other devices work fine, so it's not the connection or the router, it's my iPhone. I've tried rebooting, hard rebooting, resetting the network settings, and nothing works. Do I need to get my iPhone replaced to get this resolved? I bought my phone in November, and just had to get a refurbished replacement from Verizon back in February or something, because it wouldn't get phone service where we live.

JMP451,

We never want you to be without a solid WiFi signal. Have there been any new apps or software updates since this started? Are you having any issues when on cellular data?

I took it in to my nearest corporate location. They tried the same software techniques I did, and concluded that the wifi antenna must have come loose. I will be receiving a new phone in the mail tomorrow, and the issue will hopefully be resolved then.
