I received an email that my iPhone shipped. The email included a fedex tracking number: <Tracking number removed for privacy per the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service.>
Today I received the following email:
Important information about your iPhone 5 order.
Congratulations and thank you for your iPhone 5 order. We
know you are anxiously awaiting the arrival of your new device.
Due to unprecedented popularity, we regret to inform you
that your iPhone 5 was not shipped as scheduled on October 26, 2012. You will
receive a shipping confirmation email that will include your final shipping
date.
How can that be? I get a tracking number then they say it wasn't shipped?
