I'm thinking about pre-ordering Iphone5 with no contract, but me and my husband are moving to Korea in the next couple of months. Is the Iphone 5 no contract will work in Korea? thank you

It will if you keep it on a new line for the next months and either unlock it or have a global plan on. You should keep it on there while in another country.
