Hi, the past few days my visual voice mail stopped working. I never have been able to get 4g at my house but 3g was coming in.

Then it went down to 1x and now nothing shows up for signal?

Good thing the wifi still works.

So when will all this get better verizon?

I'm sorry you were unaware of the data usage used on your device  for visual voice mail mjmadhatter. I recommend monitoring usage via #data and my-verizon http://bit.ly/xB4iTc . Are you using wifi at home and in other areas? This can help prevent excessive usage. In regards to your coverage, where are you located (zipcode)? How many bars do you have and are issues inside or outside?

Is it true that visual voicemail use is not included in my unlimited calling and that you have to pay for it by using your data plan?

If true this is misleading and I want out of my contract.

Visual voicemail is a data feature and always has been. That's not grounds for getting out of a contract.

well if I need to have cellular data turned on to use free included visual voice mail and its taking away from my mandatory monthly data allowance that I am paying for that is not right.

I'll contact my state attorney general and see what they say about it.

Besides I signed up to get 4G, not 3G coverage.

Coverage isn't guaranteed which is stated in the contract you agreed to. And you can feel free to use wifi so as to not take from your data allowance. I'd bet my paycheck the state attorney general would do nothing more than laugh at you. If not to your face than about you behind your back.

I'm sorry I was not informed about visual voicemail being charged against my paid usage.
