why is my apple account for apps keep telling me my payment methods declined.

ever since i downloaded the ios 8 update my phones been acting up even with my apple apps account keeps saying payment method declined on every card i put into it . it wont let me update or even get the free ones. im getting to the point where im gonna switch to the galaxy s5

Did you put everything correct? Did your bank put a hold? You may have to call Apple as it is their payment system.
