A way to BLOCK no caller id calls. PLEASE HELP.
melodyhopefarr

I have received 20 No Caller ID calls today.  I called support and was told the only thing that I can do is use Do No Disturb on my IPhone.  I don't want it not to ring, I want the calls blocked.  I pay for this phone and the calls.  Why am I subjected to paying for something that I do not want.  There is no technological reason that these cannot be blocked.  If the caller wants to block their identity that is fine.  What is not so fine is that I don't have the option to block a call from someone that can hide behind this.  We can't do it is no longer acceptable.  I will become a customer of the first mobile carrier that offers this service.

I understand that this is not a question but a statement but between this a robo calls, I am getting very annoyed in paying for others to abuse my time.

Hi melodyhopefarr, seem to think that the iPhone 6s has the built in technology to do that. Click on the phone icon. Then go to Recents, and click on the circle all the way to the right with the "i" in it. Then scroll all the way to the bottom and click on Block this Caller. The iPhone cannot anticipate what calls may come in, but should be able to block them as they are received.

This only works if there is a phone number associated with the call. If there is a "no caller ID" message, then there's no phone number and you are not presented with the "block this caller" option.
