Anyone else experiencing poor service? Also bad customer service?

Recently as in the last 2-3 months my service has gotten terrible. I called Verizon to see if they could help and they said I more then likely need to purchase a network extender for work. My service was ok before and now me and my coworkers have terrible service. Cant even send a text. Why should I have to purchase another product for $200 plus dollars to make the service they provide better? Verizon is losing what used to be great service and customer service. Going back to AT&T for better coverage and faster download speeds
