I have an iphone 6 (software v12.4.3). Last Friday I entered a phone number to be block. Today (Monday) the same phone number I blocked is able to ring my phone. I double-checked the phone number listed entered under Devices->Manage Device->Controls->Call and message blocking to find the phone number entered is correct. I tried to enter the same phone number for blocking a second time which resulted in a error stating the number is already blocked, which makes sense and validates the correct phone number is being observed.
Anybody know why a phone number entered in Call and message blocking would still be allowed to ring my phone?

dtocci113, we know the importance of ensuring your blocked calls are not coming through. Let's take a look at this together. Do you happen to know if the unwanted call is being processed over Wi-Fi: https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/make-and-receive-wi-fi-calls-iphf90f372f0/ios? At times numbers can bypass blocking this way. Another culprit of this behavior is Caller ID spoofing: https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-218765/. Does this information help?
