Can I Use My Sim Card In My Daughter's Phone?

I have lost the sim card from my daughter's phone.  I have the sim card from one of my old phones, how do I use this in her phone and get the correct phone number?  I put the SIM card from my old iPhone 5 in and the it seems to work, however it is displaying MY phone number, not hers.  How do I correct this?

CATDUN35, it's important to us that your daughter has service on here device. The sim card is what assigns her mobile number to that device and connects it to our network. Did you complete the activation of that phone with your old sim card? http://vz.to/2gafulM

You can call into CS and they can do it for you.

You should also be able to do so in your MyVerizon account under activate devices I believe.
