Can I Wake my iPhone 6s plus without pushing a button?

  Is there a way to wake the iPhone in the setting where you don't have to press a button each time? I'm trying to set it up where you can maybe just swipe the screen to wake the iPhone.

Being able to customize your device can really help to improve the wireless experience, Salisbury. With the home button or power button needing to be pressed in order to open the lock screen, this would not be able to be changed on the device due to operating system limitations.    OK thank-you for the info. This is pretty disappointing with iOS 9.2 in that high end Android smartphones have the feature I mentioned, without having any affect on accidentally opening, it just creates an ease of use.

  I already had Assistive Touch being used, but that works after the iPhone s6 + is already opened to the home page.
