Does anyone know how to set up group message conversation permanently where i don't have to set it up everyday, without purchasing a app for it? When I had my Samsung I was able to setup group text messages. I'm talking about just adding people a text message, but i could name the group.

Open a group text

at upper right, click details

Swipe down, you will see group name

Enter group name where indicated.

I contact Apple about the group text messaging where you give the group a name. I was informed that the 6s doesn't not support group messaging through the device. They walked me through it on Mac and PC you have use cloud. Thanks for the help

I Just did the same thing I showed above on 6s and it worked.  Not sure if you are trying to do something else?  At least you have a way to do it.

I was trying to setup a permanent group text messages and create a name for it. I create it through iCloud.
