How do I dissassociate a name from an iPhone?

My wife and I both have phones.  My phone is  recognized as "Dianes Phone"   How do i dissassociate the phones and name my phone as mine? Does this have to do with Verizon?

You go to Settings/General/About and name the phone whatever you want

However, I just want to make sure I understand the question a bit better so we fully resolve your dilemma. Can you please explain a bit more of where you see “Dianes Phone”? Are you having any issues with your phone since it displays your wife’s name?
