I am a fist time user of an iPhone6s plus. I can't get my phone off vibrate  I need help so I can hear my phone

   SHirley930, with the iPhone 6s Plus you can also go into Settings > General > Accessibility and then turn Vibration to the OFF position.

No trees were harmed by this message. However, several trillion electrons were extremely inconvenienced.

Aside from what has been stated above, do you have the sound turned on? There is a toggle switch on the upper left hand side of the phone which will turn your phone ringer on/off. I have been known to accidentally flip that switch on/off in the past.
