The PIN Unblocking Key (PUK) is utilized to reset a blocked SIM card and must be obtained via the My Verizon website before proceeding.
- From the Home screen, navigate: Settings > Phone > SIM PIN.
- Ensure that the SIM PIN switch is turned on (in the green position).
If prompted, enter the 4-digit passcode then tap Done. - Tap Change PIN.
- Enter the current SIM PIN info then tap Done.
If an invalid PUK is entered too many times, the SIM card is permanently disabled. - Enter the new SIM PIN then tap Done.
- Re-enter the SIM PIN then tap Done.
