How do you safely disconnect from a Hotspot?

Are you connected via Wi-Fi, or USB tethering? If it's by Wi-Fi, then all you should need to do is disable/disconnect the Wi-Fi connection. If it's by USB tethering on a Windows PC, then you should have a USB icon icon in your system tray ont he bottom-right that you can click, and then select to disconnect.

@Norma.L Great question. It is important to always disconnect from any Hotspot connection for security purposes.
