I can't suspend billing of my phone for more than a day


I have been coming across some trouble for suspending my phone. I am currently abroad and I wanted to suspend the billing and service of my phone until I return. I understood that it was possible to suspend a line for three months (which would reconnect automatically after that period) but I have been running across some trouble for doing so. Whenever I click suspend service, it indicates that it will resume service tomorrow. I have tried clicking lost/stolen also, but it says that service and billing will resume tomorrow.

Please let me know what I could do with this problem. I wish I could call, but I am currently abroad which makes it more difficult.
