Well, you could return your phone and pay the restocking fee, but you wont get the new iPhone until Sept 25th or later. So, since you are 7 days into the 14 day return period, you might want to think fast and maybe you have a spare phone to use until then.
You have 14 days to return. There will be restock fee. The new iPhone announcement was not secret, and was widely known.
