Can I drop the data plan after the contract runs out on my iphone? We are always on wifi, have no need for Data.
clemarc, knowing what promotions and discounts are available once your contract runs out is key to continued savings. Regarding removing the data plan, since a smartphone requires a data plan, that service feature cannot be removed.
However, depending on the service plan that you are on, you may qualify for a discount that ranges from $15.00 to $25.00 off of your monthly line access fee.
What plan are you currently on? Are you by chance on the More Everything Plan or the Verizon Plan?
