I just switched over from Sprint to Verizon on June 1. I got an Iphone 6 and a LG Exalt. I am extremely disatisfied with the service I am getting on both phones. They are constantly going to voice mail without ever ringing. Is it possible to terninate my contract without charges at this time? I would like just to go back to Sprint. I thought their service was bad but Verizon is worse.
You have 14 days to return and pay the restocking fees. OR, you could find out what the problem is and remember that a full port can take up to 3 days.
Thanks for reply. Not sure I understand your "port" comment?
When a port happens it can take a few days for everything to complete. Generally it should take a few hours. Sprint is notorious for delaying full ports often.
Did you power cycle your phones(power off and on)?
The "port" is what you are calling a "switch" from one carrier to another. the "port" can take up to 3 days to complete. So while the port is completing you will not receive calls or text messages. If it has been more than 72 hours and you still cannot receive calls or text messages then call the port center and see what the delay is.
I myself would wait and make sure you know why you aren't receiving full service before making another decision to change yet again. If you still cannot get full use in a day or 2, you still have enough time to switch back and will have waited long enough to say you tried.

Not completely. You have 14 days to return the phone without being charged an ETF, but you would likely have a $35 restocking fee on each device.
