I keep getting error message that I cannot connect to Verizon Cloud with my iphone 6S.  Does anyone have any ideas on what I need to do?  I can connect fine through the web app on a laptop.  When I type in my login info and password it says "Something went wrong.  We can't connect to your Cloud now. Please try again later."

We appreciate your patience and definitely want to get this figured out so you can back up your device. Let's try to first gain some further clarification on what you have been doing previously. To be sure, you're stating that from your work phone you previously could log into the Cloud application/account for your personal account? We ask because normally this would not be possible. You must use your own mobile number, not the number or User ID for anyone else on the account, to access your Verizon Cloud content. The Account Owner can only access the Verizon Cloud content they’ve backed up from their device. They can’t access the content associated with any other lines on their account.    Kmorgan12, the first thing you might want to take a look at is. Go to Settings > Cellular and make sure Verizon Cloud is turned to the ON position.

Lets get you backed up appropriately.  When was the last time you were able to back up your phone successfully? Are you logging in using Wifi or Cellular data?

I have tried both using wifi and cellular data to no available using Verizon Cloud. I am not sure when the last time was that I was able to back up. I want to back up my pictures and my contacts only. The phone I am attempting to back up is my work phone and different than the cloud account.

I want your Cloud app to work properly. When you access the Cloud app, you are prompted to sign in using your Cloud credentials (same email that was used when it was set up on your old device). On the app, there is normally 2 options, are you selecting the backup option vs the transfer content? Have you tried removing/readding the app?

When it first had me login, it defaulted to my phone number and password. I removed that and entered my user ID [removed] and I also tried my email account. None of them work. But they do when I login online. Even though it gives me the error message it then goes to this screen.

I choose Open Verizon Cloud and then get the login screen that I can never get past without the error message that I submitted.
