IOS 13+ has been out since mid. September, and I still have no software update available for my 6S Plus. I did however get the 12.4.2 update a few weeks ago, but nothing else since. Are the 6S Plus phones the last in line for the updates or did something change?
everywhere I look says the 6S plus will be getting the IOS 13 updates, I even called Verizon directly and was told the same thing, when did this change?
Hello there, Piscestg,
I sincerely apologize for any confusion about iOS 13 and your iPhone 6s Plus. I know it's important to have the details about your device, and I'm more than happy to help. The following link is from Apple's website, and provides the information on which devices are compatible with iOS 13: http://spr.ly/66061GvDO I noticed that the iPhone 6s Plus is included in the list, so your iPhone can get the update. Tell me, does your device indicate a software update is available when you go to Settings/General/Software Update? Please share some additional details for me, thanks in advance.
If you get the iOS 12.4.2 update instead of the iOS 13 update, chances are you don't have the iPhone 6s Plus. You probably have the iPhone 6 Plus, which is not compatible. The way to determine whether your iPhone is an iPhone 6 Plus or an iPhone 6s Plus, you look for an "S" with a box around it on the back side under the word "iPhone".
