Not getting text alerts from a 6 plus user

I have a 6 and my husband has a 6plus. I am not getting any alerts when he texts me (neither sound or vibrate). I get a sound when my texts go out to him but not a peep when he texts me. Calls are fine.

That can definitely cause issues, josammom! Let's do all we can to get all the messages flowing.

To clarify, is this happening with both texts and iMessages, or only texts?
