On 9/19 I ordered a gold 64gb iPhone 6 with a ship date of 9/20 and a gray 16 gb iPhone 6 with a ship date of 10/17. Is it true that the gold won't ship until the gray can ship, even though it has an earlier ship date?

You may not be able to see a change from Processing until it officially ships, then you'll see the tracking number.
