I am having the same problem on my iPhone XS.  My mom had the same problem on her X. We are both  erizon customers.

The noise occurred on my Mom’s phone while on a trip to Huntsville Al on March 4. It happened on my phone while at home in Los Angeles on March 8

Also, does this shrill, nasty beeping sound happen when your device is on speakerphone too? Next time, please take a speed test at www.speedtest.net to determine is signal strength has anything to do with it, okay?
