I went to Verizon store in Washington, PA end of March to purchase my wife a new phone and apple watch. The sales person told me I would get $440 for trade-in on phone after I send the device in. I sent phone in with the box he provided and waited....
A couple weeks go by...no email, no credit...I log into account and it basically shows no phone received. I call the store. I get the tracking, I talk with support online...it was received. I call the manager who calls loyalty department, says I will get an email last week, still no email. I log into the account today still no change on the trade-in. This is clearly a bait and switch fraud that Verizon is doing too long time loyal customers.
I will be filing complaints today with the consumer protection agency and better business bureau. I have text messages with the manager. Oh by the way it's now been over 6 weeks dealing with this.
