Verizon finally got something right with my iPhone 6 plus preorder

So I called in to Verizon Customer Support today around noon, and finally got some help with all of the problems i was running into with my iPhone 6 plus pre-order and shipping date.  A support specialist named Sam was able to go into my account and file a "jump in line" claim, to try an have my IPhone 6 Plus shipped earlier than the 10/24 expected date.  He was very very helpful in finding out why my order keeps getting pushed back and getting things fixed.  He told me he would let me know if he can get me moved up in line at some point, hopefully soon i'll hear from him.  I'll keep you guys posted on whats going on.  In the meantime, has anyone else had issues with their shipping date being pushed back, and has anyone else been able to move up on the waiting list?

Daylawn,

I hate being the bearer of bad news...but VZW has been telling people "what they want to hear" to appease them and get them off the line.  I was one of those very same people before receiving my phone.  I truly hope this Sam guys does what he says...but to this date the only thing VZW has been correct on in terms of guaranteed delivery, is the guaranteed delivery of another broken promise.  So, keep your fingers crossed, pray to whomever you pray to at night, and hope for the best....but don't be shocked if you get disappointed like many, MANY other folks on this site have been.

Loquat,

I know exactly what you mean.  Verizon is more worried about sales than they are about satisfaction now a days.  Im not necessarily counting on everything he said working out, his services were just a big step up from some of the other customer service employees I've spoken with in the past.  I think all of us VZW customers have plenty of stories about our terrible customer service experiences, so this was a big step up from some.  As for VZW, they have done nothing over the past few years but give customers grey hair and broken promises.  Its come to the point that you can't trust anyone at verizon.  They want to help themselves and their business, more than they want to help the customers.  Fingers crossed, and prayers sent!  You have similar difficulties in receiving your phone?
