Just purchased an iPhone 6s Plus, trying to set up voicemail but the page is stuck on "setting up voicemail" any ideas how to rectify this, thanks.

All iPhones come with Apple's version of a Visual Voicemail. You might need a cellular data connection to activate it.

Can you elaborate on that a bit, please? I've turned cellular data on for everything and am still stuck on 'setting up voicemail' screen.

Britsburger,

Having voicemail is always important. Let's reboot the network on the phone. If you can go to settings > general > reset> reset network settings. After that is done than try your voicemail setup.
