What to do next with phone "locking up"/turning off on its own and performing multiple soft resets a day?

Since Saturday, phone has been "locking up."  No access to any apps, text, web, settings, etc.  I do soft resets multiple times a day to use phone.  This morning phone went off randomly and did not come back on for an hour with another soft reset.
