My I phone 6 is not auto connecting to wireless networks that I have signed onto previously,Even my own home. We are almost at the limit for out 10GB this month and it is all because of my usage.

Reset network settings and sign in again. Turn off wifi assist.
If it persists, you may need to back up and factor reset the phone. I have found with more than one iPhone it stops connecting to wifi and the only thing that fixed it was factory reset, sometime more than once.
You can also contact Apple about repair or replacement if you have Apple care plus or are within the one year warranty.
