Why won't my battery hold a charged when my device is plugged in?

Recently I've noticed my battery will lose charge while Its plugged in and I'm using it.  I'm pretty tech savvy so I'm guessing it's either a connection issue or a battery issue. However, my battery still holds a great charge.  Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Equipment: iPhone 6 Plus

Having a phone that won't charge is can be very frustrating Earningsilence. Lets find out why you're having issues with charging and get it resolved. Is there any damage to the phone, charger, or charging port? Have you tested your phone with different chargers?

Figured out what it was. I play a game, mortal kombat X, that pulls way too much power. Thanks
