There seems to be a problem with the Verizon order status website. I ordered 2 iPhone Plus phones from Verizon during the first hour of availability (with 2 separate transactions). When the transaction was complete the Verizon website confirmed a 9/19 delivery. The confirmation email received an hour later also confirmed a 9/19 delivery. However, when I use the verizonwireless.com/orderstatus website, it lists a 10/14 shipment date. Many people on Twitter are seeing the same thing. Verizon you need to look into this in more detail. There is a problem here.
The weirdest a thing is that if i was to just go order the same iPhone Plus configuration right now from the Verizon website, it is listing a 10/14 shop date (and 10/21 delivery). So ordering during the first hour of availability seems to have gotten me nowhere versus ordering Saturday afternoon. SOMETHING IS WRONG!!!
There may be some connection to the ECPD errors that many of us were getting as we tried to pre-order. The ECPD error seems to be associated with Verizon customers that have employee discounts on their account through their workplace . Verizon feel free to research my orders (Paul Dawson) and you will see what I am talking about. You will quickly see that something is majorly wrong with the dates listed at verizonwireless.com/orderstatus
i would say yes. it happened to me for the release of iPhone 5. it's not 100%, but I can tell you from past experience that it is possible.
It has nothing to do with Verizon at all. Your Precious Apple company messed up the screens on the 6. No one gets it until October.
