contact names disappeared and now I only see numbers that I don't know who they belong to

Why have certain contacts names disappeared and left me with unknown numbers? It is only a select few, no updates were done to my knowledge

I would love to get these contacts back for you. What device do you have? Was the device sync'd or unsync'd with Gmail or a different service resently?
