My apologies for asking . . . it seems that Verizon is overwhelmed with questions re. this launch. I preordered the iPhone 6+ 64G Silver on 9/12/14 at 7:30am CST - my preorder status continues to say "unavailable". After reading a news story online and then seeing so many other users to this community getting information about delivery on 9/19 - I was hoping for an update.

unfortunately no one at verizon, even the reps know what is going on. (spoke to so many) Don't apologize for their mistakes. You are the consumer, they are providing a service. Plan and simple. You are never in the wrong, and they know that. You are paying 299 and up for a device, thus why they are keeping a lid on their mistake. I will be surprised if my response to you actually does not get removed.

I know you're super exited about your new phone. As your order moves through the process, you can check the status at http://bit.ly/RjmCUB. You may not be able to see a change from Processing until it officially ships, then you'll see the tracking number. If you've received a confirmation email that your order was submitted, any additional information throughout the fulfillment process will be sent to that same email address. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. Though I am excited about the new iPhone - I would not inquire about the status of my order if one was provided to me. As instructed in my pre-confirmation email, I could check the status of my order by entering the details provided in the email or by an official log-on to the website and checking the "My Orders" section. My concern is that it continues to show "no orders" have been placed. So, I'm assuming from the response that Verizon Customer Support does NOT have an update available in the inventory tracking system? Better quality and more definitive communications to your customers could avoid all the time consuming messages on the Community Support Forums. With that said, any additional information you could provide would be most appreciated.
