I ordered an iPhone 6 and submitted the request for the $200 trade-in credit on October 13. I promptly forgot about both transactions until I received an "order shipped" email last week and I realized that I never received a confirmation email for the trade-in and did not receive the return shipping envelope. I honestly wasn't surprised that I had not received the envelope as I had not received it for a phone submission from September 28.
I called the trade-in center and was told that they have no record of the trade-in request. I asked if that meant that they would take the position that I had not submitted the request by the October 15 cutoff and was told by the rep that she wasn't sure because they are "very behind."
So, my question is, should I expect the return envelope to arrive with the iPhone 6 next week or am I going to be screwed out of the deal by the verizon trade-in program, which has, by accounts on this form, poorly handled this deal?
