My iPhone cuts in and out and breaks up on calls ever since returning from Europe. Does anyone have tips for how to correct this? I've called Verizon 3 times and they still can't figure it out

I know its upsetting to have issues with your call quality after returning from your international trip JamCam49 but we will do our best to help. any damage to the device? Does your device have the latest software? Have you tried a factory reset?

Make sure you have power cycled the phone.
I would also do settings - general - reset - reset Network settings
you will need to set up wifi and Bluetooth after the reset, but nothing else is erased.
